About Jennifer Yang
Jennifer Yang has over 20 years of experience in the field of leadership and adult development. She specializes in helping individuals define their goals, and pursuing careers that align with their talents and interests, particularly those with creative and non-profit backgrounds. In addition to coaching individual clients, Jennifer works with organizations to design impactful training and leadership acceleration programs that help employees do their best work.
Jennifer is a coach whose own non-traditional background allows her to work with a diverse range of clients. She has helped many early to mid-career professionals with career pivots, including those from non-profit and higher education organizations.
Prior to her current role in corporate leadership development, Jennifer spent many years managing the Executive MBA Program at the Kellogg School of Management. There, she worked with senior professionals from across industries on building their business and leadership acumen, while developing their authentic executive presence.
She completed her Masters of Science in Learning & Organizational Change at Northwestern University, where she also earned her certificate in Organizational & Leadership Coaching. Upon graduating, she pivoted into professional services and served as a Consultant in Organizational Effectiveness at Slalom, a business and technology consulting firm.
Currently, Jennifer works at a top global healthcare company, where she oversees leadership development, coaching, and managerial effectiveness training programs for corporate employees. She has designed global training for senior leaders on Inclusive Leadership, as well as created high-impact mentorship programs to improve employee engagement & retention.
A classically trained artist with keen design sense, Jennifer understands the importance of finding a career that allows the expression of creativity while achieving balance & well-being. She excels at helping clients align their interests and define their sense of purpose through curiosity and supportive career exploration.
